Commodity:	Aloe Vera Gel Filet Bits in Extra Light Syrup
Description:	Aloe Vera Gel Filets cuts into small "bits" (approximately
		4 mm x 4 mm) and packed in Extra Light sugar syrup (9-11 
		Brix). Suitable for use in healthy and value added beverage, 
		yogurt and food preparations where Aloe Vera Gel texture
		and flavor is desired.


Raw Material:	Aloe barbadensis Miller (Aloe Vera Linne), grown & processed 
		in Thailand


Process:	Mature Aloe Vera leaves are harvested by hand.
		The inner gel in the leaf is removed by machine and 
		hand-fileting processes. The gel filets are cut into
		small bits and preserved in Extra Light sugar syrup
		using standard canning procedures.
				

Packaging:	6 x 3.005 kilogram (108 oz.) cans/carton or 200 kg.
		metal drums with aseptic multi-wall
		bags inserted (Aseptic Pack).

PHYSICAL
Appearance:		Translucent "fish-like" fillet bits, white to light
			yellow liquid in color 
Odor:			Characteristic Aloe-vegetable
Percent Chunks:		50% min.
pH Value: 		3.5 - 5.5
Preservatives: 		None 
Stabilizing agent:	0.1% Calcium Chloride
Arsenic:		Less than 0.3 mg/kg as As2O3
Heavy Metals:		Less than 10 mg/kg as lead

MICROBIOLOGICAL
Total Plate Count:	Less than 10 cfu/ml
Coliform Goup:		Negative
