Description:		Two Hundred-fold (200 X) powdered 
			concentrate of pure Aloe Vera inner leaf 
			filets, prepared without additives of any kind.
			Suitable for use in health food and beverage
			formulations.	 
			

Raw Material:	 	Aloe barbadensis Miller ( Aloe Vera Linne), 
			grown & processed in the Dominican Republic


Process:		Mature Aloe Vera leaves are harvested by hand.
			The inner gel in the leaf is removed by a hand-
			fileting process. The gel filets are gently air 
			dehydrated under controlled conditions. The
			dehydrated filets are then ground into a uniform, 
			somewhat fluffy powder.

Appearance:		Light tan powder
Odor:			Characteristic vegetable-like
Color:			3 Gardner Maximum (When reconstitited with distilled 
			water at a ratio of powder to water of 1:199)
Percent moisture:	5% maximum
pH:		 	4.0 - 5.0 (when reconstituted with distilled water
			at a ratio of powder to water of 1:199)
Aloe Vera Gel Solids:	100% (Dry Basis)
Additives:		None
Arsenic:		Less than 1.5 mg/kg as As2O3
Heavy Metals:		Less than 10 mg/kg as lead

MICROBIOLOGICAL
Total Plate Count:	Less than 500 cfu/ml
Coliform Goup:		Negative
